The Starkey estate can be booked as a full property buy-out for guests who want exclusiveness or can be booked in multiple configurations and layouts to suit your needs. Areas can be booked hourly or for the entire day if needed.

All bookings come with 4 hours of vendor setup time prior to your event and 1 hour for tear down. If additional hours are required please let us know and we can provide pricing. Also, included are 1-4 staff members depending on the type of event and number of guests. These employees provide help with bathroom cleaning as well as keeping the property clean and free of all trash. We also provide a Venue Manager to help coordinate vendors and any other minor details that may arise on your special day.

What are you doing to keep guests safe during the COVID-19 pandemic?

The Starkey Estate is following all federal, state, and county mandates and guidelines regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Please contact our Venue Manager HERE for more details.

What is your maximum capacity?

The property can accommodate up to 450 guests with a full property buyout. The home can also be divided into several different areas to provide guests with several options. The main house can accommodate up to 80 guests for a cocktail hour or similar event. The side patio can seat up to 150 guests for a seated event or ceremony. The pool area and barn can host up to 180 guests for casual events. The garden area (under the ficus trees) can seat a maximum of 300 guests for a ceremony or at tables for receptions.

What does the venue rental fee include?

The venue rental fee includes the use of the gardens and patios, 1st floor of the house, library, and kitchen during your event as well as four hours of vendor set-up time prior to your event (and an hour of breakdown time afterward). For weddings, the wedding party also receives access to the upstairs suites for getting ready.

Does the venue come with tables and chairs?

The Starkey Estate provides the venue only. All tables, chairs, linens, lighting, tents, etc. must be rented by the client for an additional fee.

Can I choose my own caterer?

You may choose from our list of approved caterers – there are currently 10 caterers on our list, so there is something for every taste and budget! Outside caterers are not allowed.
